As you all know, I recently celebrated my 2 year lunaversary. The day after, I had an appointment with my Pulmonologist and got some wonderful news. I've been using two different inhalers (expensive prescriptions) for several years. One at 8 inhalations/day; the other at 4 inhalations/day.

The doctor told me I could reduce the dosage as low as I wanted as long as I continued to feel good. In fact, I can stop using them regularly and use them as needed for congestion, etc.

That's about the best news I can imagine. I'm going to work on getting down to 1 inhalation of each/day and then put them away. So far I've reduced the dosage by half and feel no different.

Just another reason to quit smoking. I can now breathe deeply and, soon without the aid of inhalers. Now that's progress and I'm thrilled Exclamation Very Happy

Thanks all for your help and support. Newbies, hang in there and stay close to woofmang.

Jo - that's really wonderful news!!! Quitting and staying quit really do make a difference...there is always some benefit that will come from eliminating the poisons in cigarette smoke...its never too late to quit.

But...the sooner the better - thanks for sharing Jo!
