Very Happy My WW online weigh in is tomorrow but I weighed myself tonight. I only lost a point .98 pound. That's not bad I guess since it's better than not losing at all. Mary, I know you are still exercising good and losing well. Can I borrow some of your determination?

Blessings,

Barbara, I think that is good,. ONe or two pounds a week should be enough, isn't it? I'm not up on that now, but years ago when I lost weight, we were told not to lose too fast, so as not to get wrinkles.

Well that may have helped then, but I have them now anyway! Laughing (But only a few! Wink you know...those laugh lines.... Laughing )

Barbara - see what the morning brings - usually your morning weight is the lowest through the course of the day. Sure you can borrow my determination anytime! One thought for you...just like smoking - it comes down to choices - but with food I think of it as good, better, best choices. I try to pick the most nutritious option. One other thought...learn to recognize hunger. There are times when we just shove food in our mouth for something to do - or use eating as a stress managment tool - try to eat when you are hungry - and recognize the mindless eating and snacking and try to find another, healthier way to distract yourself. Take it one day at a time...everyday is another chance to stick with the plan - yesterday is history...make good choices TODAY!

I think .98 lb is great! Very Happy Weight does vary throughout the day and you should always weight at the same time each day to get your true gain/loss.

Barb, be proud of yourself. You're losing not gaining. That's great!

Congrats Barbara! A pound a week is pretty dang respectable! And Mary is right, you might find your morning weight is even lower. No matter what, though, you are on the right path! Keep up the good work!

Very Happy Lori

Very Happy Thank you everyone,

I cannot wait to go to WW meeting tomorrow evening. I weight more on their scales but I'm not sure how much off mine is than theirs.

Blessings,
