wish i could reward myself, but that will have to wait until at least the weekend after i get my paycheck. and it will still be a small reward at that! with switching jobs i lost a week of pay, and it's going to take a while to make up for that. imagine if i was spending $5 a day for smokes! because i would find that $5 a day!
i am so relieved that last night is over and i made it! and it is pretty relieving to know that it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. i really think this time is different, and i know that i've thought that before, but i really think this seems easier. not going to let down my guard though.

You are so much more positive this time too! Here ya on the money part...but reward doesn't necessarily mean spending money...it can be doing something you enjoy and just pampering you! Very Happy

Hugs

Hi Jenny,

I also play darts once a week and none of the bars where I play are non-smoking. Sad I made it through the first week at the pub, which was tough. The second week I started watching one of my teammates as she smoked one after another after another. I felt so good about myself that I didn't have to do that anymore. I left the bar and couldn't believe how bad my clothes smelled! Last week (3) I caught myself thinking about second hand smoke. Shocked

I was supposed to play last night but my son and I are both sick and I stayed home with him. It was at the VFW too, so I missed out on the cheap drinks (last time we play there this season).

Believe it or not I've been playing better since I've quit. Mabye because I am not trying to take a drag between every throw and can concentrate a bit better. I don't know...

let's hope i end up playing better! that would be pretty cool! i'm pretty new to the whole dart thing, so i can't get much worse! the smell on the clothes and in my hair the next morning was awful! i am so glad they don't allow smoking in bars here anymore!
