can anyone help me decide which SLR settings to use at the softball game tomorrow? the game starts at noon so there will be a lot of sunlight. _________________
Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn arouind and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.

if your camera has a preset that favors shutter speed, choose that and keep your shutter speed above 500 if it's bright enough; when you're shooting sports, you want the fastest shutter speed you can get for the light. most modern dSLRs have a "shutter priority" preset (not sure what it would be called on your camera, but it should be in the manual).
